Most of the projects that NDB has been part of involve interactive media, commonly known as “video games.” They have been produced for all walks of life, like casual games, social games and some larger scope games as well! We’ve worked on PC, Mac, Facebook and iPhone/iPod Touch – check out our credits below!

Air Traffic Commander is a social media game that plays over Facebook, where one navigates different types of aircraft onto particular runways, overcoming obstacles and managing flight paths all at the same time! The game is a collaboration of Complex Games and DES Games (out of Winnipeg and Vancouver, respectively) and published via dimeRocker and OverInteractive Media. The game is pretty simple, but wonderfully fun and quite addictive!
If you want to play it, here is the link: http://apps.facebook.com/airtrafficcommander

Skipping Stones is a casual game for iPhone/iPod Touch, where one not only takes a brief vacation to their favourite sunny beach and skips rocks, but can also manage stats, unlock prizes and play in three different gameplay modes! The music and sound is very chill, so if you’re looking for a five-minute getaway, you’ve found y0ur app.
The game can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store, but the link is also right here!

Clones is a puzzle/strategy game for the PC by Tomkorp Computer Solutions that involves some cute and globular beings with the cool ability to morph into different jobs and perform some fancy tricks to help out one another. The game is akin to Lemmings, but with a killer multi-player mode that sets the game apart from any of its similar brothers and sisters. NDB created all of the sound effects for the game and 15 tracks of music, with the other 15 being composed by Eric Nordquist, keyboard player for the VGM Rock Band, Mode 7.
The website for the game itself is http://www.clonesgame.com and make sure to check it out! We also have trailers and videos on our site too!

Ahoy, me mateys! Pirates Ahoy! is a social media game for Facebook by Complex Games and while being casual, has an arsenal of ships, armour and weaponry that we love to customize at NDB. Again, music and sound effects courtesy of Kenley and Jeremy to help make this game as fun and over-the-top as possible!
Pirates Ahoy! is getting re-branded, so the link is down… but when it comes up, we’ll give you the ins and outs so that you can take a run through the sea on your mighty-fine galley!

NDB worked on a triumvirate of games for a company called Universal Access Games that focused exclusively on acquiring basic computer skills for kids with special needs. It was incredibly rewarding because we felt like we were part of a team that was doing something meaningful for kids that enabled them to gain skills, while still maintaining the joy that comes from achieving goals. Darwin’s Basic Skills teaches basic computer abilities like clicking and timing…
… Darwin’s 123 teaches similar skills, but all revolving around counting and numbers…
… and Darwin’s ABC continues those skills along the lines of letters and literacy.
We (Jeremy and Kenley) are both very passionate about teaching and furthering the growth of those around us, so these games are a great manifestation of our philosophy towards life and of storytelling through sound and games.
