JEREMY MACINTOSH
Sound Engineer
Jeremy MacIntosh completed his Diploma of Audio Engineering at the Mid-Ocean School of Media Arts in Winnipeg, MB, where he scored one of the highest marks on this final thesis of anyone in the history of the program.
He began his engineering career as head of the Sound Department at Dragonfly Games – also located in Winnipeg, MB. Jeremy has worked in commercials, podcasting and professionally overseeing the sound development of an interactive media project in downtown Winnipeg.
KENLEY KRISTOFFERSON
Composer/Educator
Kenley Kristofferson graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba. He has been composing music for interactive entertainment since 1998 and hosts a podcast focusing on the academic study of video game music called “Into the Score.”
His sound is characterized by a love of ethnic tone colour and creating exotic textures with motifs and instruments from all around the planet. His musical influences draw from all styles and all genres of music, from jazz and celtic music to African choirs and music from video games. He teaches music at the Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School, one of the larger high schools in Manitoba. He is a strong advocate of music education in schools and allowing students to discover and express their creativity in musical and artistic ways.
He has given presentations to various groups throughout the Winnipeg area, including the city’s chapter of the International Game Developer’s Association and lectured on video game music composition to junior and secondary schools in the Louis Riel and Seven Oaks School Divisions in the area.
